Our Story
The name
behind the name.
D-Dey PMS is named after Debanjan Dey — a pharmacist from Howrah who ran his shop entirely by hand. Every bill on paper. Every stock entry in a register. Expiry dates tracked from memory. It was slow, exhausting work — and sometimes, medicines would expire on the shelf before anyone noticed.
We started building this platform specifically for him. To take away the burden he carried every single day.
He never got to use it. He passed before we could finish.
But his struggle wasn't unique. Thousands of pharmacists across India work exactly the way he did — same registers, same guesswork, same quiet losses. So we made a decision: finish what we started, and open it to all of them.
